The section "On God" features a discussion of God as an explanatory entity and whether a god can coexist with science.  God is not antithetical to intelligent analysis.   In fact, science works by breaking God into small pieces and applying causal analysis and mathematics to the description of the working parts of that part of God.  This section contains an essay on why it takes a long time for some prayers to be answered.

The section "On Religion" discusses the difference between becoming a member of a religion and belonging to a religion.  This section features an essay on moving towards a universal religion as well a piece on whether reality is as it appears to our physical senses.  There is a brief essay on whether the soul has a religion or is purely an energetic entity and an essay entitled "On Manifestation" which discusses different conceptualizations of the process of getting what you want.  This section also discusses the significance of Heaven in modern life and what it may have meant previously.

The section "On Heaven" postulates an actual Heaven in which souls congregate and shape humanity's future.  The meaning of the term "Heaven" is discussed in relation to other concepts of the term.  Heaven is a Testament to human potential; the souls that exist there and the quality of the work they do show that we can do better.

The section "On Love" is about the different types of love that exist and the near identical omnipresence of love in human communities all around the world.

The section "On The Soul" is about an actual soul - one that takes its instructions from what is presented to it and which is non-denominational.  There is an essay on how a focus on the soul can bring disparate religious communities together.  "The Quotidian Soul" discusses ways to practice good soul hygiene; for example, I suggest mediation, prayer, and regular reading of a sacred text (e.g., The Holy Bible, The Torah).

The section "On The Akasha" discusses how the air contains a record of all events that transpired within its physical boundaries.  This concept is found in Eastern religion and philosophy.  A technique is suggested on how to attract desirable influences from previous persons and how to behave as is best to ensure the posterity of the community.  In the future, we will add theories about the recurring personalities (or archetypes) present in the akasha.

We hope you are challenged by the theories on this website.  If you would like to participate in the discussion, send your theories and comments to scott@theorism.org.

         On Theorism

Theorism is the idea that the world is something discoverable and cognizable through scientific, religious, metaphysical, psychological, spiritual, or historical theories.  Theorism treats religions as not mutually exclusive and as part of one family even where religious beliefs differ or conflict with each other.  This website is a safe space in which one can ponder or posit theories about philosophical, scientific, psychological, or religious issues.
